NextIO and DEPO Computers sign OEM agreement

Leading I/O virtualization provider and top Russian server manufacturer partner to provide customers unmatched data center efficiency. NextIO and DEPO Computers have announced an agreement for DEPO to offer NextIO’s vNET I/O consolidation appliance as part of its product portfolio. The OEM agreement represents an important step toward providing more simplified I/O management and virtualization options to companies throughout Russia.

DEPO is a leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of computer equipment and integrated IT solutions to more than 10,000 Russian companies, including 95% of the country’s Top 500 corporations. DEPO’s deep OEM experience can be attributed to its successful work with customers such as the Moscow Aviation Institute, ISP provider Mamba, and top retailers including IKEA. DEPO’s plans to incorporate NextIO’s vNET technology into its server infrastructure will yield increased manageability, greater flexibility and lower costs for its broad customer base in industries such as government, manufacturing, oil & gas and internet service providers.

Under the terms of the OEM agreement, DEPO will incorporate NextIO’s vNET product into its server portfolio to provide network I/O virtualization for data center rack fabrics to reduce IT infrastructure costs and complexity.

vNET I/O Maestro is a rack-level appliance that simplifies the deployment and management of complex server I/O by consolidating and virtualizing I/O resources. This rack level appliance removes layers of data center complexities often found in traditional server I/O deployments to maximize the value, productivity and efficiencies of complex server I/O.
