Easynet Global Services further strengthens global network reach across Latin America with Telefónica

Easynet Global Services has announced an agreement with Telefónica International Wholesale Services (TIWS) to provide extended MPLS network connectivity across 12 Latin American countries. This accord was established in direct response to the demands of Easynet customers in the Latin American region for fast, reliable, cost-effective connections with robust SLAs.

The agreement which connects Easynet’s and Telefónica’s VPN MPLS service, provides the platform for resilient, secure and highly efficient networks that can support the bandwidth demands of video collaboration, business applications and Cloud-based services throughout this region, and have been optimised for connections on a global basis.

As the leading provider to the majority of countries in this region, TIWS provides Easynet with extensive coverage and services. Coupled with TIWS’ network support, Easynet offers its customers and prospects a strong end-to-end SLA including 24/7 access to Easynet’s state of the art European support centre. Each customer is also allocated a TIWS project manager to work alongside Easynet’s project manager co-ordinate and oversee the implementation of the MPLS network, ensuring the same high standards that the rest of Easynet’s global customer base receives.

Our customers in Latin America will now be able to receive the same levels of service, stability and flexibility as those that already utilise our network elsewhere around the world.”
The agreement will be used by Easynet to provide services in the following countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.
